Engineer. Problem Solver. Community Leader.

I am a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Industrial Energy Professional (CIEP) and LEED Green Associate, born and raised in Niagara and a proud Western Hill resident since 2015.

I believe that same disciplined, evidence-based approach can help St. Catharines tackle the difficult decisions ahead.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have built my career in the private industrial sector in technical, leadership, infrastructure, regulatory and capital project roles.

My experience includes industrial infrastructure, energy and building systems, equipment reliability and maintenance, contractor management, capital projects, regulatory compliance and workplace safety.

Working in complex industrial environments has taught me to understand problems before acting, weigh cost, risk and long-term consequences, and make practical decisions based on evidence.

I also contribute my professional experience as a member of a CSA national code committee, helping develop and review standards used across Canada.

MUNICIPAL EXPERIENCE

During the 2022–2026 term of Council, I had the privilege of serving the City of St. Catharines in three different municipal roles.

Committee of Adjustment — Member

Serving on the Committee of Adjustment gave me direct experience considering planning applications, listening to residents and applicants, reviewing evidence and making decisions based on the applicable planning framework and criteria.

Property Standards Appeal Committee — Chair

As Chair, I gained experience leading hearings involving appeals of municipal property standards orders and balancing individual circumstances with the City's responsibility to maintain safe and livable communities.

Environmental Stewardship Advisory Committee — Chair

As Chair, I worked with residents, staff and other committee members on environmental stewardship, sustainability and issues affecting the long-term health and resilience of our city.

Together, these experiences gave me a much deeper understanding of how municipal government works—from planning and neighbourhood concerns to enforcement, environmental stewardship and the relationship between residents, Council and City staff.

WHY I'M RUNNING

I first ran for Ward 2 Council in 2022 because I believed St. Catharines needed practical, evidence-based leadership focused on long-term results.

I am running again in 2026 having spent the last four years building on that commitment through direct municipal service.

St. Catharines faces difficult decisions about affordability, property taxes, aging infrastructure, flooding, housing, growth, transportation and the services residents depend on. These challenges cannot be solved by simply spending more or by putting difficult decisions off for another day.

They require priorities, long-term planning and accountability.
